Containers Unlimited LLC provides a five-year limited warranty. Read the scope below alongside the product description and your order: a warranty is a commitment to address covered defects, not an insurance policy or a universal certification.

Five-year term
The warranty runs for five years from delivery to the original purchaser and is not transferable. It applies to the purchased container and the intended use recorded for that order. Retain the invoice, delivery record and any product-specific documentation.
Coverage by product
New containers: covered functional defects include frame, walls, roof, base, corner castings, doors and locking hardware. Used containers: coverage concerns structural usability, door function and undisclosed material functional defects, not cosmetic renewal. WWT performance applies only where sold as WWT. Our installed modifications are covered for defects in the agreed work; third-party equipment follows its separately disclosed warranty.
A product photograph is not a warranty certificate. The order identifies what you bought; request clarification before ordering if a component, accessory, conversion, or intended application is unclear. The five-year term does not imply that all listings include refrigeration equipment, electrical systems, pool equipment, foundations or installation.
Exclusions
Excluded are disclosed cosmetic wear, ordinary deterioration, misuse, overloading, improper unloading or relocation, inadequate foundations, unauthorized alterations, and environmental damage such as flood, fire or severe storms. A condition classification or warranty does not maintain transport certification indefinitely.
The exclusions concern the cause and scope of the reported problem. They do not turn unrelated customer work into a blanket waiver of legal rights. A container should not be treated as an approved dwelling, workplace, pool or transport unit without the documentation and local approvals required for that use.
How to make a claim
Report the issue within the warranty period. Provide order and delivery references, container ID, discovery date, description, photographs and relevant documents. We may inspect remotely or on site. Contact us before major repairs, except urgent safety action.
Please explain what has changed since delivery and identify the affected part in the photographs. If a door is binding, for example, include the door, supports and general placement area where it is safe to do so. This helps separate a product defect from a placement or maintenance issue without asking you to diagnose it yourself.
Resolution of a covered claim
Remedies may include repair, replacement parts, a comparable unit, or an appropriate partial/full refund. We confirm the remedy and any collection arrangements in writing after review.
Do not commission paid repair work on the assumption that it will be reimbursed. Ask for written instructions first, and retain receipts for any authorized work. Contact us if the agreed remedy cannot be completed so that the next step can be discussed.
Care, records and related policies
Keep the unit properly supported, use it for its agreed purpose, maintain it appropriately, and protect it from avoidable damage. Keep your delivery photographs and correspondence together. Contact support when you notice an issue rather than waiting for it to worsen.
This is a limited warranty. It does not reduce rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude. Returns for delivery discrepancies are addressed separately in the Refund & Return Policy.
